I personally landed in Split first and ended the trip by taking off from Dubrovnik a week later. The bus trip was not very pleasant as it was extremely hot, but once in Split, you\u2019ll just forget all about it!<\/p><p>Once in Split, visit the old town with its historical buildings Listed as World Heritage by UNESCO, lovely restaurants and shops. Take a walk along the Riva Promenade and go for a hike up Marjan Hill. On the way up, you should climb up 314 steps, but the view at the top worth it 100%. Take a different way down, and once you reach the coast, try to safely climb down to find a swimming spot away from crowded beaches.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div center;\"><strong>Trogir<\/strong><\/p><p>Another good way to avoid swimming areas with a lot of tourists, is to grab a boat tour. We opted for the \u201cBlue Lagoon and Trogir\u201d trip we purchased at the tourist-office. Also worth it, as you will head out on a small boat and get to swim in the crystal-clear sea with not many people around. Afterwards, get a few hours in Trogir old town and discover the ancient wanders of this UNESCO World Heritage site.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element We purchased the 3-day Dubrovnik card at the tourist office to have access to most of the activities of the town, including the Walls of Dubrovnik. If you are planning to visit more than two cultural-historical monuments, then this card is a profitable option. Therefore, we enjoyed Dubrovnik City Walls, the Cultural Historical Museum and the Maritime Museum. If you are a Game of Thrones fan, you can also have fun trying to find the serie&#8217;s shooting spots. DATE : AUGUST 2019 It is easy to have an itinerant journey through Croatia, even if you don\u2019t have a car, all you need is the ferry. I personally landed in Split first and ended the trip by taking off from Dubrovnik a week later. Here\u2019s how: Pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent Suivant Split From Split airport, you can catch a bus to make it to the city center in about half an hour. The bus trip was not very pleasant as it was extremely hot, but once in Split, you\u2019ll just forget all about it! Once in Split, visit the old town with its historical buildings Listed as World Heritage by UNESCO, lovely restaurants and shops. Take a walk along the Riva Promenade and go for a hike up Marjan Hill. On the way up, you should climb up 314 steps, but the view at the top worth it 100%. Take a different way down, and once you reach the coast, try to safely climb down to find a swimming spot away from crowded beaches. Pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent Suivant Trogir Another good way to avoid swimming areas with a lot of tourists, is to grab a boat tour. We opted for the \u201cBlue Lagoon and Trogir\u201d trip we purchased at the tourist-office. Also worth it, as you will head out on a small boat and get to swim in the crystal-clear sea with not many people around. Afterwards, get a few hours in Trogir old town and discover the ancient wanders of this UNESCO World Heritage site. Pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent Suivant Hvar In the harbour of Split, catch the ferry to this Island of Hvar and book yourself accommodation within walking distance of the center. This island is full of wonders, and once again, boats will be your best way to discover them. Take the first day to walk around, enjoy the local market and have a round to the different activities provider to compare the best offer. We went for a trip to Blue Grotto, Stiniva Beach and Blue Lagoon (yes there\u2019s a few blue lagoons in Croatia, but all with a different shade of blue). Pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent Suivant Dubrovnik Another ferry ride and here you arrive to one of the most famous places of this country. We purchased the 3-day Dubrovnik card at the tourist office to have access to most of the activities of the town, including the Walls of Dubrovnik. If you are planning to visit more than two cultural-historical monuments, then this card is a profitable option. Therefore, we enjoyed Dubrovnik City Walls, the Cultural Historical Museum and the Maritime Museum. If you are a Game of Thrones fan, you can also have fun trying to find the serie&#8217;s shooting spots. We then had our Airbnb host driving us to the Dubrovnik airport, but you can off course catch a bus.
